《再给我一天》 ( For One More Day ) — Mitch Albom

这是我看过的Mitch Albom 的第三本书(另外两本是:“The Five People You Meet in Heaven”和“Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man and Life’s Greatest Lesson),他的书拿起来就很难再放得下了,废寝忘食,两天就将一本书读完了。

-He said: “Mom, I can always go back to school.”(Charley dropped out from college to play baseball.) -She (mother) said only one more thing before hung up the phone: “Going back to something is harder than you think.”

“To my Charley on his wedding day … Here is what you are going to find out about marriage: you have to work at it together. And you have to love three things. You have to love - Each other - Your children - Your marriage.”

“Sticking with your family is what makes it a family.”

“There’s a story behind everything. How a picture got on a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always your mother’s story, because hers is where yours begins.
