Renovation on Pricechopper’s hip new layout is on the go

The subversive change of interior layout in the store, which cut off the Deli department in order to save money and room, is now under way only limited in 4 Pricechopper’s chain stores of Mississauga City for the present. The project will update the old-style composition to blow fresh wind in order to attract more customers’ shopping. A sharp and modernized new face will emerge in weeks.

“It’s almost 40 years old, and it just got tired”, Tony, the manager of Produce department, said. “it really is a nice place to be around but it just needs to be spruced up. it is really going to change the whole look of it”, my friend added.

Mr. Ciofee, the owner of this chain store, and officials from the headquarter of the general company kicked off the renovation two weeks ago.

A new face which includes more refrigerators loading meets, veggies and frozen foods is exhibited on the blueprint which will be expected to magnetize more than 1/3 customers than before.

Tony described the vision:”the freshness is the source of guaranteeing customers to come for shopping. By adding more refrigerators, the supermarket will be outstanding for its huge amount of storage for frozen and fresh stuff. The place where the Deli existed before will be used as an extended Meat department to exhibit more frozen foods”.

Work on one component of the revitalized Pricechopper - the vanishing of the Deli’s - began two weeks ago is near completion.

By the way, after the renovation, Pricechopper - the chain-store’ trade-name which have been used for more than decades, will be changed into a new brand: Freshco
